Christian is a tough warrior and brawler, native of the Mountains
of Darkness. His village was taken over by the evil birds of Tyaa,
and one day he plans to return with vengeance to his homeland. He
is currently based in Lankhmar, where he freelances for the
Slayer's Brotherhood there.
During journey across the Sea of the East to Kadesh (also on
board were Morgan of Vil-Ning and Kissla of Illek-Ving), Christian
was attacked by pirates but helped to drive them off. In Kadesh,
Christian was tricked by Prince Muburuk into leading a band of
thugs and mercenaries to ambush several Diamond Knights, one of
whom (named Kendall) he later saved and escorted to Ilthmar. On his
way back to Lankhmar he defeated the Werewolf of Pulgh Downs at the
Halfbrow farmstead near Dryways.
On Christian's next journey from Lankhmar he escorted a mad
wizard across the Inner Sea to Ool Hrusp. The wizard was consumed
by a sorcerous pox, and Christian took his scrolls and a strange
fish-like living key as payment for his services. In Ool Hrusp,
Christian met Lucidia (with whom he got on well) and Quarn. However
Lucidia stole the living key and escaped.
Disgruntled, Christian took ship for Lankhmar but was blown off
course by the rage of the Sea King (actually directed at Quarn and
Lucidia, but having general effect throughout the Inner Sea).
Christian ended up in Earth's End with fellow travellers Cunelas,
Black Arrow and Maelin. There he found strange sightings of Blue
Men, and staged an ambush of a trio of shady adventurers.

Inner Sea, where he met Christian of the High Passes, Black Arrow

was nearly seduced by Numinante.

Griflet is a grim and meticulous elf, allied to Law. He prefers his
own company. He is the father of Westley and Buttercup. During the
Stormlands Campaign, Griflet's adventuring companions were (at
various times) Kal Zakath, Strawberry Fields, Finbar the Fantastic,
Westley and Buttercup, Daphne, Prince Eder, Lorathon Shadowblade
and John Smith. It was during his adventures in the Stormlands that
Griflet acquired his 'second shadow', the enigmatic Mysteriones.
Following the Stormlands Campaign, Imric made Griflet the Royal
Scout of the Elves, and sent him south to investigate a possible
danger to the elven kingdom. Griflet discovered a planned invasion
by a sinister race from Limbo, but also a darker evil which
threatened the heart of the Elvenhome. Rejoining Prince Eder,
Griflet and his rangers Astalin, Briath and Memrian hastened home.
When they arrived, nothing was as expected. For the Dragon
Bloodbane had invaded Imric's mind and plunged the elven lands into
nightmare. After the Nightmare, Griflet's adventures continued.
In the aftermath of the Nightmare, Griflet tried to stabilise
the factionalism and confusion which arose among the elves after
the death of the royal family and many of the nobles. This
factionalism came to a head when Griflet duelled Ash of House
Protector, attempted to steal one of the Swan Ships and escape with
most of the elven army to human lands. Following Ash's defeat,
Griflet gained the ear of more moderate factions and persuaded the
elves to relocate to the Lakes of Pleea.
In the Year of the Gorgon, Griflet and Polydices tracked down
and killed Bloodbane, and Griflet led an expedition of House
Protector back to the lair to recover the treasure. Griflet then
returned to Imric's Hold, with his companions Kellin, Arborius,
Griff the Gallant, Leonore and Windwood. He recovered the Icon of
the Dragon and headed with it to the Isle of Zeçy, where in
spite of attacks by Wild Elves he reached the tower-tomb of
Celedril. Celedril made Griflet his sole heir and restored the Icon
of the Dragon to its original state. Celedril then ordered Griflet
to kill him, and what was left of Coryon.
Griflet searched ruined Tovilyis for lore to save his friend
Leonore, who had been trapped in Celedril's tower by strange
forces. In Tovilyis he captured then freed Helias. Then he
retrieved the Rod of Kulg from Buttercup and used it to destroy
Coryon's Horrible Abomination of Stone on Red Rock.

Quarn is a oily-moustached Mingol of the Steppes. He is a sorceror

Upon agreeing to this, Quarn found himself in the lands of the

Hulfing.
