A cynical man who assisted Zhao Liang, Cyric and Ronaldo Vasquez
during the Dunmere Hills Adventure, by verifying the Dead they had
destroyed. He does not trust priests. He is the nephew of Captain
Agramal.

Captain Agramal tricked a squad of the Dead into a ravine during
the Berghovian War of the Dead. These dead were later destroyed by
Zhao Liang, Ronaldo Vasquez and Cyric.

A tribesman of the Oasis of Ekk'il. He played a game of backgammon
with Tech-na-Chuk-Chuk-Wakae-Hazar to pass the time.

though he lost quite a few of the men under his command.

Asquarti is a master armorer, in service to Lord Tollund until he
was imprisoned by Daphne. It is due to Asquarti's
help, and access to iron deposits in the foothills of the Mountains
of Hunger, that Lord Tollund had maintained his position as one of
the wealthier barons of the Stormlands. Now Asquarti works for Lord
Arcturus of Lawden.

Ba'Tun is a drug merchant of the Oasis of Ekk'il. He has been lucky
and has become wealthy on his trade. His new-found wealth has
convinced him that he is the greatest of men, though he is little
respected by the others in his tribe. Ba'Tun is Grandfather
Wa'aii's supplier.

D'Or and Christian of the High Passes over some
rejected stone orders.

A rogue from Dunmere Keep. He accompanied Ronaldo Vasquez, Cyric
and Kur Pelagius during part of the Dunmere Hills adventure.

A fearful, drunken innkeeper from the town of Walthorp Downs in the
Stormlands. He hosted Griflet, Kal Zakath and Strawberry Fields at
the start of the Stormlands Campaign. Carby participated in the
Battle of Walthorp Downs.

Lord Carkspur is one of the Lords of the Stormlands, ruling from
Castle Carkspur. After the Stormlands Campaign,
Carkspur's power increased when the Druid Medusa
joined forces with him. The Grey Man's hidden treasure
was enough to buy enough mercenaries to tip the balance of power in
the Stormlands to Carkspur's advantage. But when
Medusa was killed by Merrick Quickstring, the secret location of
the treasure was lost. With no more pay, many of
Carkspur's mercenaries deserted, upsetting his plans
no end. Still, Lord Carkspur remains a powerful figure in the
Stormlands.

Chaus is a necromancer from Ustang who was scientifically curious
about the multitudes of Dead infesting Berghof during Malac's
Tyranny. Unfortunately, by the time he arrived in the vicinity of
Berghof the Dead had been defeated and driven back to the Dunmere
Hills. There Chaus me Warden Gword, who blackmailed him into
raising the dead for the benefit of the Glorious Company. Chaus
fled the Dunmere Hills after being interrogated by Ronaldo Vasquez,
Kur Pelagius and Corg Kilarn.

Arrun is the brother of Stiv, a Stonemason in
Lankhmar's Mercantile District. When his brother was
afflicted by the Gold Demon, Arrun tried to carry on the business
in spite of bad debts. When he refused stone which had been ordered
from Bazar's Quarry he would have been in trouble if
Christian of the High Passes had not been around to protect him.
Arrun later hired Christian again to recover his
brother's debts from Finester.

Stiv works with his brother Arrun as a Stonemason in
Lankhmar's Mercantile District. After Stiv built a
high wall for the merchant Finester, he refused to pay more than
half the agreed fee. However the half he did pay was in cursed
gold, and Stiv quickly fell under the spell of the Gold Demon.
Cunelas "cured" Stiv when, posing as a
healer he stole the cursed gold.

An abrasive fellow of Dunmere Keep who frequently worked as a
tallyman for the Glorious Company.

Hedge-Sorceror of Frogton. Trained Westley during the Stormlands

Durpar was the legendary flying horse steed of Al-Nisr. He is the
grandfather of Durpar III. When Al-Nisr was killed by Coryon on Red
Rock, Durpar was grief-stricken.

Elthiria was the wife of Imric, and the mother of Eder and his
brother Eslim. Long ago, at the end of the Elf-Quarmal war, she was
the triumphant general at the Battle of Tovilyis, where she
captured the Dragon Icon from the Bolga, which she then took to the
elven wood. She was raped (?) by Heironymous, under the influence
of Mysteriones (then with Bolga). She died at the birth of The Grey
Man, an event which caused Imric to retreat into his tower in
melancholy.

The first son of Imric and Elthiria, and brother to Eder. After
Eslim befriended Philo, he became very interested in the
Stormlands. Eslim, Philo and Eder went adventuring and learned of
the Grey Man, but Eslim never returned alive to
Imric's Hold. Griflet later found his body in a grave
in the Stormlands.

Erei is a journeyman sorceror, servant of a more powerful one in
Lankhmar named who desired the death of the Blue Men, and hired the
Three in Black to effect this. Erei acted as go-between between his
master and the three.

Captain Fazhan was a soldier of Kadesh, under Prince Muburuk, until
he was betrayed by Lord Jadyn and captured by Horn Hulfing. He was
tortured by Lord Wrenchid but rescued by Quarn and Lucidia, who
adopted him as a personal servant in her House of Dark Delights.
Fazhan is nervous and twitchy; he jumps at shadows.

Finester is a wealthy merchant of Lankmhar. He acquired the Pouch
of Halea from Ooorn the Red-Eyed and immediately used it to make
money. The more he made however the more powerful the Gold Demon
became. Finester became even more miserly. He fortified his home,
and refused to pay the stonemason (Stiv D'or) more
than half his fee. He wouldn't even pay his guards,
which cost him dearly when Cunelas, Christian of the High Passes,
Albrecht von Linden, Grierdon Ithrain and Black Arrow broke into
his house in early Murderer's Moon.

Smith of Walthorp Downs in the Stormlands. He participated in the
Battle of Walthorp Downs.

Grismire 's fortune was made during the Stormlands
Campaign. He fenced enough treasure from Griflet's
band to start his own 'mercantile'
business (and to tell Sweet Harry of Frogton just where to go..)
One of Grismire's dubious purchases in his new line of
work was a figurehead, which he got from Wolvoln at a bargain
price.

Dour ferryman of Frogton in the Stormlands His charges are
unvarying: one penny per man or beast to cross the Hlal.

Serpent
A somewhat arrogant man, he was the leader of the Glorious Company.
He spent most of his time in his house near the keep or in the
White Skull Inn.

Hieronymous was for a long time leader of the Druids of Sibilan. In
his youth he fought at the Battle of Twixwater Meadows and helped
to capture Bolga at Lorn Velpa. While escorting the prisoner to the
Stormlands he raped Elthiria; the Grey Man was the unpleasant
result. During the Stormlands Campaign, Hieronymous was old and
infirm. After the Grey Man's death Rokon took the
opportunity to depose Hieronymous as head of the Order.

A beautiful girl who serves Grandfather Wa'aii in his dreams.

Igibord is the tavern-keeper of the World's End Tavern
in Earth's End. He is on good terms with Numinante.

Isle of Ka-Nisra.
Lord Jadyn was adviser to Prince Muburuk of Kadesh. Jadyn was
responsible for many purges against the Diamond Knights, although
he was secretly a member himself. Lord Jadyn sometimes made use of
the services of Horn Hulfing, but the bandit became troublesome and
Jadyn persuaded his prince to have him removed. Jadyn was abducted
by Quarn and Lucidia in Pazar in the spring of the Year of the Sea
Serpent, and taken to the haunted isle of Ka-Nisra, where he
vanished forever with the ghosts of the dead Diamond Knights.

A slightly shady fellow who likes to gamble at the Silver Wheel in
Tulan. He helped Cyric of Tulan with some minor forgery.

Kendall is a Diamond Knight, one of the last of that order. He and
his companions were ambushed outside Kadesh by a band of
mercenaries led by Christian of the High Passes. However, Christian
realised his error and helped Kendall to flee northwards from the
wrath of Prince Muburuk.

A surly boy, squint-eyed companion to Cap'n Scabb.
When Scabb's raft sank, Lars ran ashore and was
captured by Goblins. Although later rescued by Griflet, Kal Zakath
and Strawberry Fields, Lars was not at all grateful.

Prince Muburuk is a warrior king of Kadesh. A military man, he is
always interested in ways to increase the power of his city. On the
advice of his vizier Lord Jadyn, Muburuk hired Quarn and Lucidia to
kill Horn Hulfing (who had captured Muburuk's guard
captain Fazhan), then to explore the isle of Ka-Nisra. However when
the Gypsy Nation sieged Kadesh and demanded that the pair be handed
over, Muburuk was quick to betray them. This action earned Muburuk
their undying enmity, and Quarn used his magic to sink
Muburuk's flagship, the Roc.

Numinante is the sherriff of Earth's End. He maintains
law and order there (and the gibbet outside of town) However,
because Earth's end has been quite a quiet town until
recently, Numinante spends much of his time drinking in his friend
Igibord's World's End Tavern. Cunelas
once dressed as a woman, and narrowly avoided being seduced by
Numinante.

A mysterious black sorceror of Lankhmar. Using Erei as his
go-between, Ooorn organised the Three In Black to slay the Blue Men
in Earth's End. During a spirit-journey , the Gold
Demon made him unable to return to his body, which was guarded by
Erei until Maelin abducted him from Erei's wagon.

A stupid bandit, formerly in service to Horn Hulfing. He was
present at nearly all of Quarn and Lucidia's attacks
on the bandits, but somehow each time he escaped.

Philo was the son of a minor noble of Frogton in the Stormlands. He
fought bravely in the lists and became squire to Prince Podgett. At
the Battle of Frogton Fields Philo fought by his
prince's side until he slew and was slain by the giant
Bolga. Mysteriones then entered Philo, the closest living being.
After the disaster of Frogton Fields, Philo wandered south to Lorn
Velpa on the Lakes of Pleea. There he met Vardin, who trained him
as a Protector. Philo later returned to the place of his birth,
where he met Prince Eslim of the Elves. Eslim, his brother Eder and
Philo adventured together in the Stormlands to defeat the Grey Man.
After Eslim's death, Philo tried to recover the Rod of
Kulg but died in the attempt.

'n Bastinado.
Phlebas was one of Black Annie's sailors on the
"Revenge",
before it was captured by Cap'n Bastinado and his
ratmen. Phlebas was made to walk the plank after the ship left
Pillory.

Prince Podgett was the last ruler of the Stormlands, at least in
name. He bore the sword Werewindle and a horn which summoned
magical warriors. These heirlooms did not save him at the Battle of
Frogton Fields, though his squire Philo escaped. After his death,
his tomb was guarded by a witch who had loved him. But during the
Stormlands Campaign he rose from the dead to exchange with Lorathon
Shadowblade his horn for his stolen crown.

Somewhat degenerate knight, a servant of Abbot Sensotha. He
appealed for help from Cyric, Kur Pelagius and Aranduil during the
Tulan campaign.

Qima was once a beggar of Tovilyis. Al-Nisr cured Qima of the Blue
Pox, and Qima became his scribe. Based on conversations with
Al-Nisr, Qima wrote the Book of the Eagle's Way. After
Al-Nisr's death, Qima travelled across the mountains
to Berghof.

A good man of Walthorp Downs. He took part in the Battle of
Walthorp Downs.

A boy of Walthorp Downs, son of Ranklesmithers. He got it into his
head to go adventuring with Griflet, Kal Zakath and Strawberry
Fields; he was killed at Castle Kulg.

After the Stormlands Campaign, Rokon ousted Hieronymous and became
Great Druid. Currently Rokon is engaged in re-organising the
druids. Rokon cares nothing for the war which now rages in the
Stormlands. He is grateful to Griflet for putting him (indirectly)
in his present position. He is also a politician, however, so his
gratitude does have some bounds. Also, he is slightly annoyed at
him for destroying the Fountain of Dark Abundance.

A somewhat decadent Abbot of the Law God, Sensotha is accustomed to
wandering wherever his welcome is not worn out, usually in company
with his four 'virginal nuns' and Sir Porthus his majordomo and
'protector'. Sensotha is easily distracted by beautiful women.
During the Tulan Campaign he was captured by Viggo and rescued by
Cyric of Tulan, Cela D'Arrana and Aranduil of Waylorn.

Seabeard was a fierce pirate of Earth's End. As
related in the story by Tandy Gilliam, he did something so horrible
that the villagers of Earth's End drove him out of
town. Just what is not known, but yearly the villagers construct
the Greenwitch to ward off the evil he once wrought.

Cap'n Scabb was an insane riverbarge captain, who was
convinced that his crummy raft was an enormous Battleship. His
'first mate' was Lars. Scabb abducted the
drunken Griflet, Kal Zakath and Strawberry Fields from Antim Town.
However the 'Battle-Barge' sank in the
Hlal near Frogton. All except Scabb survived.

A slimy inhabitant of Fenthorp in the Stormlands.

Taplerns was a druid who originally served Cathaw, then worked for
the Grey Man. He stole Prince Podgett's crown from the
battlefield of Frogton Fields. Later, he tried to sell it, but was
killed by death dogs in the Red Fallows north of the Stormlands.
Taplerns remained as a pale shade, unable to rest until the crown
was returned to its rightful owner by Lorathon Shadowblade.

Viggo is a Black Hat, the son of Wyric and Myrti. Viggo captured
the Abbot Sensotha during the Tulan Campaign. He was put to sleep
and captured by Aranduil of Waylorn, Cela D'Arrana and Cyric of
Tulan.

Scout of Lord Spelheur, originally based in Torth until that
town was destroyed.

A stern soldier who guards the frontier against the return of the
Dead. He is an honorable, but somewhat penny-pinching man, with no
time for priests or adventurers.

Wolvoln is a dashing half-elf with the dubious title Master Thief
of Frogton. He trained Westley during the Stormlands Campaign.
Wolvoln's most daring exercise was to steal the
figurehead from Black Annie's ship the
'Revenge'. However when he spied
Bastinado's Ilthmarts walking the deck instead of
Black Annie, he quietly sold the figurehead to Grismire.
